Tree planting event: Wednesday, June 9th 10 AM to 1 PM with Urban Forestry (and the City of Calgary) at Sue Higgins park. Let me know kristen.anderson.k at gmail.com by June 1. They only have room for 8 people due to restrictions so you should be physically able to plant trees for 3 hours. No need to bring anything or have any background in tree planting. Wear protective shoes, bring water and dress for the weather.
